Biography
Julie Torres is a Hudson NY-based artist and curator specializing in community-expanding collaborations. Her goal to support and connect kindred thinkers and makers inspires both her own art-making and ongoing curatorial work. Torres’ artwork and projects have been covered by HuffPost, WSJ, Hyperallergic, The Brooklyn Rail, Two Coats of Paint, Chronogram, Gawker and Gothamist. She co-directs LABspace gallery in Hillsdale NY with partner and fellow artist Ellen Letcher.
